Spaces that breathe — quietly Scandinavian, made for everyday life.

We design homes, studios, and small hospitality spaces with a Nordic sensibility — where light, natural materials, and restraint do most of the work.

Bright Scandinavian living room

A studio rooted in light, material, and restraint.

Nordic Haven Studio was started in 2015 by Linnea Sørensen and Mikkel Holm, two designers who met at the Royal Danish Academy and shared a frustration with how cluttered modern interiors had become.

Today the studio is fifteen people across Copenhagen and Stockholm. We work with private homeowners, growing brands, and a small number of hospitality clients across Northern Europe.

Every project starts the same way: walk the space, listen to how you actually live, and decide what to remove.

01

Light first

Every plan begins by mapping the path of daylight through the seasons. Furniture and finishes follow.

02

Honest materials

Solid oak, lime plaster, linen, hand-thrown ceramics. Materials that age beautifully and tell the truth.

03

Less, but better

We'd rather have one perfect chair than five good ones. Restraint is the shortest path to calm.
